1. Introduction

These Payment Terms ("Payment Terms") govern all financial transactions conducted through the RideAgo Platform, including payments by clients, payouts to drivers and partners, commissions, fees, and all related financial operations. These Payment Terms should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Driver Terms of Use.

By using the RideAgo Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Payment Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform for any financial transaction.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

RideAgo accepts payments from clients through a range of secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment methods provided by our payment processing partners:

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Bank transfers: For corporate and agency accounts only, subject to prior arrangement

All payment processing is handled by Checkout.com, a licensed and regulated Payment Service Provider operating under the supervision of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other applicable financial regulators.

3. Currency

All transactions on the RideAgo Platform are conducted in Euros (EUR). This includes:

  • Client payments for booked transfers
  • Driver earnings and payouts
  • Partner and agency commissions
  • Platform fees and charges

If your payment method uses a different currency, your bank or card issuer will apply its own exchange rate and may charge conversion fees. RideAgo is not responsible for any currency conversion costs, exchange rate fluctuations, or international transaction fees charged by your financial institution.

4. Pricing and Fares

4.1 Fixed Pricing

All transfer fares on the RideAgo Platform are fixed and agreed upon before the booking is confirmed. The price shown to the client at the time of booking includes the base fare and any applicable surcharges, taxes, and fees. There is no surge pricing, dynamic pricing, or post-booking price increases under any circumstances.

4.2 What's Included in the Price

The quoted fare includes:

  • The agreed base transfer fare
  • Fuel costs
  • Tolls, bridges, and road fees along the standard route
  • Airport parking charges during the standard waiting period
  • Up to one (1) hour of free waiting time at airports (arrival transfers)
  • Up to fifteen (15) minutes of free waiting time at city pickups
  • Meet & Greet service at airport arrivals
  • Applicable taxes (VAT or equivalent, where legally required)

4.3 Additional Charges

The following extras may incur additional charges, clearly disclosed at the time of booking:

  • Child seats or booster seats
  • Extra stops along the route
  • Waiting time beyond the free waiting period
  • Changes to the route after pickup that materially extend the distance
  • Additional luggage beyond the standard allowance

5. Payment Authorization and Charging

When you confirm a booking, your payment method will be processed as follows:

  • Authorization: At the time of booking confirmation, RideAgo (through Checkout.com) may place a pre-authorization hold on your payment method for the full amount of the booking
  • Capture: The actual charge is captured at the time the transfer is confirmed or completed, depending on the payment method and booking type
  • Receipt: An electronic receipt is sent to the email address provided during booking upon successful payment

You warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide and that sufficient funds or credit are available to cover the transaction. Any unauthorized use of a payment method may result in account suspension and potential legal action.

6. Driver Payouts

6.1 Payment Processor

All driver payouts are processed exclusively through Garna.io. Drivers must maintain an active and verified Garna.io account in order to receive payouts. RideAgo does not process payouts through any other channel.

6.2 Minimum Payout Threshold

The minimum balance required to trigger an on-request payout is EUR 850. Earnings below this threshold accumulate in the driver's wallet and are released automatically as described in 6.5 below.

6.3 Payout Processing Time

Once the minimum payout threshold is reached and a payout is requested, payments are processed within 7 working days. Working days exclude weekends and Estonian public holidays. Delays caused by third-party processors, banking holidays, or incomplete driver verification are not the responsibility of RideAgo.

6.5 Below-Threshold Earnings (6-Month Release)

If a driver's accumulated balance does not reach EUR 850, the earnings are released automatically approximately 6 months after they were earned, in line with platform reconciliation cycles. Drivers who wish to be paid sooner should keep operating until they cross the threshold and submit a payout request under 6.3.

6.4 Commission Deduction

RideAgo's platform commission of 15% is automatically deducted from each completed transfer before the driver's net earnings are credited to the driver wallet. Commission rates may vary for special agreements (e.g., fleet operators, long-term partners) as documented in individual agreements.

7. Partner and Agency Commissions

Travel agencies, corporate clients, and transportation providers participating in the RideAgo partner program may earn commissions on bookings made through their accounts. Commission rates, payment schedules, and settlement methods are defined in individual partnership agreements signed with each partner.

8. Taxes

Prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of all applicable taxes, including Value Added Tax (VAT) where required by law. The VAT rate applied depends on the country where the transfer takes place and the status of the parties involved.

RideAgo, drivers, partners, and clients are each responsible for their own tax obligations arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to income tax, VAT, and social security contributions in their respective jurisdictions. RideAgo does not withhold taxes on behalf of drivers or partners unless legally required to do so.

Invoices including VAT details are available upon request for business clients. Corporate and agency accounts may request consolidated monthly invoices for accounting purposes.

9. Payment Security

RideAgo takes payment security extremely seriously. We implement the following measures to protect your financial information:

  • PCI-DSS compliance: Our payment processor, Checkout.com, is fully PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest standard of payment security
  • Encryption: All payment data is transmitted using industry-standard TLS encryption (HTTPS)
  • Tokenization: Sensitive card data is replaced with non-sensitive tokens for storage and processing
  • 3D Secure: Additional authentication is required for transactions where supported by the card issuer
  • Fraud detection: Automated systems monitor transactions for suspicious activity in real time

RideAgo does not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment data on our servers. All sensitive information is handled directly by Checkout.com under their PCI-DSS certified environment.

10. Failed Payments

If a payment fails at the time of booking, the booking will not be confirmed and no transfer service will be provided. Common reasons for payment failure include:

  • Insufficient funds or credit limit
  • Expired or blocked card
  • Incorrect card details
  • Authentication failure (3D Secure)
  • Fraud prevention rejection

If you experience repeated payment failures, please contact your bank or card issuer to resolve the issue. You may also contact RideAgo customer support at info@rideago.com for assistance.

11. Disputed Transactions and Chargebacks

If you notice a transaction on your account that you did not authorize or do not recognize, please contact RideAgo customer support immediately at info@rideago.com. We will investigate the matter and respond within 5 business days.

We strongly encourage clients to contact RideAgo directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your RideAgo account
  • Permanent prohibition from using the Platform
  • Legal action to recover disputed amounts, chargeback fees, and associated costs

12. Fees Imposed by Third Parties

RideAgo is not responsible for any fees, charges, or costs imposed by third parties in connection with payments on the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer
  • International transaction fees
  • ATM withdrawal fees
  • Wire transfer fees
  • Garna.io withdrawal or transfer fees

Please check with your financial institution regarding any applicable fees before initiating a transaction.

13. Anti-Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering

RideAgo complies with all applicable anti-fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations under Estonian and European Union law. We reserve the right to:

  • Request additional identification or documentation from users before processing payments or payouts
  • Delay, suspend, or reject transactions that we reasonably suspect are fraudulent, suspicious, or in violation of applicable laws
  • Report suspicious activities to the relevant financial intelligence units and law enforcement authorities
  • Terminate accounts involved in fraudulent or illegal financial activity

All user funds suspected of being associated with fraud or money laundering may be frozen pending investigation in accordance with applicable law.

14. Invoices and Receipts

Electronic receipts are automatically sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. For business clients, drivers, and partners, official invoices compliant with Estonian and EU invoicing requirements can be requested at info@rideago.com.

15. Modifications to These Payment Terms

RideAgo reserves the right to modify these Payment Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Payment Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising from or related to these Payment Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the client's country of residence.
